Recently went to a great restaurant Lola & Simon between Hammersmith & Chiswick in London - cozy atmosphere, delicious fresh healthy food, goooood wine, and lovely staff! I'm surprised this place is never too busy - but I suppose it's just a matter of time before everyone else finds out about it..

Of Ballgowns and Crowns

I recently went to the Ballgowns exhibition at the V&A - a fascinating collection of dresses by British designers is on show. More than 60 glamorous pieces worn sometime between 1950s and today by royalties and other celebrities included works of Alexander McQueen, Catherine Walker, Jenny Packham, Zandra Rhodes and others. 

Very inspiring! Even the men (who were probably dragged into the exhibition against their will by their fashion hungry girlfriends) seemed well-entertained:

A Very Creamy Start

So.. I'm starting this blog with a revolution. An ice cream revolution, that is, discovered in Covent Garden this weekend. Hand made, richly flavoured, simply beautiful. I was so focused on consuming my 3 scoops of this ice goodness that I had no chance to take a photo! Thus images borrowed from the web ;)

Definitely a must-try. I recommend dark chocolate and peanut butter, though you may be tempted by the popcorn flavour. Also, check their cool website: http://www.theicecreamists.com/
